NQI Breeder Equipment & Training Fund
This campaign is to purchase instrumental insemination equipment for our honey bee queen breeding network. Three beekeepers have been trained, one workstation has been purchased, and two remain needed.
The Northern Queen Initiative 501(c)(3) is a registered non-profit. All contributions are considered tax-deductible.

About NQI Breeder Training and Equipment Purchasing Fund
The NQI runs a cooperative breeding network to strengthen honey bee genetics in cold-climate states. Focused on providing free and low-cost education in queen-rearing, training, and an open-source breeding protocol using locally adapted survivor stock selected for gentle behavior and mite resistance. Through grant funding and support from the SBGMI, three beekeepers have been trained to instrumentally inseminate queens, but we've only been able to fund the purchase of one work station.
